Deposits are quick, easy, and secure―with no fees.
Deposit checks up to $2,500 for consumer customers and $5,000 for business customers before 6pm on a regular business day and see funds available the next day if approved.
Deposit checks from your smartphone or tablet device.
View the status of your deposit on via the M&F Bank mobile app under “View Mobile Deposit History”. This will show if the deposit is accepted, pending or failed.
Mobile deposits are just as secure as handing a check to your local teller.

Get The App
Download our mobile application from the Apple or Android app store.
Log In
After logging in, tap the “Deposit” tab in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. From here, you can deposit paper checks with just a few taps.
Endorse Your Check
To deposit a check, begin by endorsing the back of the check. Then, select “Deposit a check” from the deposit screen. Choose the account to make the deposit and enter the amount. Next, tap “Take photos” to proceed.
Snap A Picture
Take a photo of the front and back of your check following the instructions.
Make Deposit
After taking the photos, tap the “Make a deposit” button to complete the process. This will confirm the amount and the account to make the deposit in. You can check the status of your deposit at any time.
Tip
Write a note on the original document that says “Mobile Deposit” and keep for a specific period of time for your records before safely destroying the check.
